£500,000 grant to The Royal Osteoporosis Society

The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust have today announced a £500,000 grant to The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS).

The Julia and Hans Rausing Trust have today announced a £500,000 grant to The Royal Osteoporosis Society (ROS).

The grant will be used to support the work of the Osteoporosis and Bone Research Academy, which was launched in February 2019. It is the first organisation of its type in the world, with the aim of advancing scientific knowledge in this area and working towards finding a cure for osteoporosis.

Julia and Hans Rausing said “We are pleased to support this important charity once more and hope this new dedicated Academy can create a breakthrough for millions of lives.”
