Julia and Hans Rausing have today unveiled a £10m donation to support the Prince’s Trust with its ambitious goals for young people in London.

Julia and Hans Rausing provided the donation to underpin The Prince’s Trust’s strategic aims for its work in London, aiming to grow the number of young people supported in the capital to over 10,000 annually by 2023.

The donation was made to enable The Prince’s Trust to enhance and increase its work with young people, aged 11-30, in the capital to help those at risk of being impacted by, or getting involved in, serious violence. By supporting the “Amplified” initiative, the gift is designed to help amplify the voices of positive, relatable role models, and direct young people to free, alternative activities in their area.

The gift has also been made to assist in the new London Centre, creating a vibrant space in South London for young people to gain confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. It will enable the organisation to better tackle the challenges faced by young people growing up in London currently.
